Privacy policy

This document is a working draft written to describe how CleanBeatz is intended to work. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not a binding agreement. Bracketed items are placeholders. Status: Draft, not yet in effect.
This policy explains what CleanBeatz collects, why, and what happens to it. CleanBeatz is operated by [Company legal name] (“CleanBeatz”, “we”, “us”).
The short version
- Your audio files are private to your account. They are not shared, sold, or published.
- Uploaded files and the clean versions made from them are deleted automatically after 7 days.
- We do not sell personal information.
- We use a small number of service providers to run the product, listed below.
What we collect
Account information
Your email address and sign-in details, and your plan and minute balance.
Audio you upload, and what we make from it
The audio file you upload, the separated vocal and instrumental tracks, the word-level transcript and flags, your edits on the lyric sheet, and the exported clean version.
Payment information
Web payments are handled by [payment processor]. App purchases are handled by Apple or Google. We receive confirmation of the purchase and the plan, not your full card number.
Waitlist
If you join the waitlist we store your email, the platforms you picked, and the page you signed up from. We use a Cloudflare Turnstile check to block automated sign-ups; Cloudflare processes technical signals from your browser to do that.
Technical data
Standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and request times, used for security, abuse prevention, and fixing problems.
Website analytics
This website uses Abner, a cookieless analytics tool, to count page views. It does not set cookies and does not track you across other sites.
How we use it
- To process your audio and give you the clean version.
- To run your account, billing, and minute balance.
- To send service emails (receipts, security notices) and, if you joined the waitlist, the launch email.
- To prevent abuse and keep the service secure.
[Decision needed: state whether uploaded audio, transcripts, or edits are ever used to improve the flagging models. Recommended: they are not.]
Who we share it with
We do not share your files with other users or the public, and we do not sell personal information. We use service providers who process data on our behalf under contract:
- Cloudflare, for hosting, storage, and bot protection.

We may disclose information if required by law, or to respond to a valid copyright notice as described in the terms.

Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU), you may have additional rights, and we will honor them as the law requires.
Children
CleanBeatz is for adults, such as instructors, coaches, and DJs. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. [Confirm minimum age with counsel.]
Security
Files are stored privately and transferred over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, so we also keep as little as we can for as short a time as we can.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update this page and tell account holders by email before the change takes effect.
