Family

Mix sections

Clean each song you pull from before it goes to your mix editor. Muting happens on the vocal only, so the hits and eight-counts your choreography depends on don't move.

Sideline and game day

A fight-song style edit for a school crowd needs to pass the principal test. Family catches innuendo and violence, not only swearing.

Youth and mini teams

Some lines are fine for seniors and not for minis. Run the same song at Clean for one team and Family for the other.

Last-minute swaps

When a song gets flagged the week of the event, you can have a new clean version in the time it takes to read the lyrics.

Questions

Will this guarantee my music passes an event's rules?

No tool can promise that. Automatic flagging misses things and sometimes over-flags. Read the lyric sheet, listen to the finished file, and check your event's music rules.

Which export format should I send to a mix editor?

WAV. It is uncompressed, so nothing is lost before your editor works on it.

Does CleanBeatz handle music licensing for competitions?

No. Competition music licensing is separate from editing. CleanBeatz only cleans a file you already have the rights to use.

How long do you keep my files?

Uploads and exports are private to your account and are deleted automatically after 7 days. Download what you need before then.
