How it works
How does it know which words to flag?
It transcribes the vocal with word-level timing, then checks each word and phrase against the level you picked. That gives you a lyric sheet with the likely problems already marked.
Is the automatic flagging always right?
No. Slang, mumbled lines, and double meanings trip it up in both directions. The lyric sheet exists so you can catch what it missed and keep what it didn't need to take.
What if a muted word still leaks through?
Nudge the start or end of that word earlier or later and preview it again. Changes play back instantly.
Can I paste a YouTube or Spotify link?
No. CleanBeatz only works with files you upload. It doesn't download from streaming services or any URL.
Which formats work?
Upload MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC up to 10 minutes. Export MP3, WAV, M4A.
Pricing and plans
What counts as a minute?
Minutes are the length of the audio you clean. A 3 minute 30 second song uses 3.5 minutes. Songs can be up to 10 minutes long.
What does the free tier include?
10 minutes, one time, which is about 3 songs.
Why is the web plan priced differently from the apps?
The apps are billed through the App Store and Google Play, and come as weekly or yearly plans with a 3-day trial. Yearly is $49.99 in the apps and $49.99 on the web.
Do minute packs expire?
No. Pack minutes never expire, and you don't need a subscription to buy one. Subscribers get member prices on packs.
What happens to my files?
They're private to your account and deleted automatically after 7 days. Download your clean versions before then.
Are prices the same outside the US?
The prices here are in US dollars. App store prices in other countries are set per region and may differ.
